Oldest telscope of the Landessternwarte, already mentioned in the annual report 1894 of the Karlsruhe observatory. Donation of L. Kann. The objective by the company Merz has a diameter of 20 cm and a focal length of 300 cm. Wooden tube, german mount. In the past used for visual observations of binary stars, now exclusively used for guided tours, e.g. for the projection of the solar disk.
