Abstract

The ScriptCreator is a tool used to generate, edit and test scripts for data acquistion, calibration, imaging and spectroscopy for the LUCIFER instruments (http://abell.as.arizona.edu/~lbtsci/Instruments/LUCIFER/lucifer.html) at LBT (http://www.lbto.org). It was mainly developed to prevent typos and to force observers to let their scripts be checked by the lucichecker (http://abell.as.arizona.edu/~lbtsci/Instruments/LUCIFER/Scripts/scriptcheck.html). The layout of the webpage was inspired by the work of Andre Germeroth who developed the exposure time calculator (http://www.lsw.uni-heidelberg.de/lucifer-cgi/calculator/calculator.py) for the LUCIFER project.
