This section is only available for LMS and Longslit scripts. Here tellurics from the GEMINI Hipparcos selection (http://www.gemini.edu/sciops/instruments/niri/near-ir-resources?q=node/10165#hipparcos) are listed. First of all one has to choose a type (or a range of types) and then all tellurics in ±45 deg in RA and 15 deg in DE are shown. After choosing a telluric, the respective image for choosing a suitable guidestar appears. The GS can then, exactly as for the target gs, chosen by entering the number of the GS from the appearing list.
Furthermore the telluric setup offers for LMS scripts the choice of the slits in which the telluric should be moved. Furthermore a dithering within every indvidual slit is offered (the coordinate mode of the dithering is fixed to DETXY, RELATIVE). After the dithering the telescope is moved in such a way that the telluric is centered on the adjacent slit. Obviously that is just correct in terms of the pointing accuracy of the telescope.
