Synthetic Spectra of B Main-Sequence Stars from 3000 - 10000 Å

Christoph Gummersbach & Andreas Kaufer, Landessternwarte Heidelberg-Königstuhl

This Web page provides a simple interactive tool for line identification in B stars along the main sequence. A normalized synthetic spectrum (~40 kB png image) is displayed for the given effective temperature and wavelength range. The calculation makes use of the atomic line list of Kurucz & Bell (1995). Look here for the computational details and a description of the output. The full data files can be downloaded from here.
