Welcome to my site, I’m Rob, currently a Gliese fellow at the Landessternwarte working on the NAIR project. I studied a MPhys in Astrophysics at the University of St. Andrews from 2004-2009, after a year break I began my PhD in the CfAI at  Durham University. After completing my thesis I was awarded a 6 month STEP award which was extended a further 3 months before receiving a Carl Zeiss Stiftung and moving to Germany, where I have lived for the past two years.

In my spare time I enjoy a range of activities, from running to swing dancing.
